MEW and her MUSES

The new most talked about performing arts centre, Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre presents MEW and her MUSES, by Mew Chang Tsing together with Artistic Director, Joe Hasham.

It took 2 and a half years for Mew to spring back into perfect form after having to recuperate from giving birth to dear Xinnie. Recovery has given her the chance to return with a body and mind rejuvenated with ideas and inspiration. Thus ‘MEW and her MUSES’ is the Come-Back performance and is a production to celebrate a ‘refreshed’ Mew…

‘MEW and her MUSES’ present a total of six performances each significantly marking a dot in Mew’s timeline as a student/dancer/choreographer as well as the close relationship between The Actors Studio and the development of hew career. ‘MEW and her MUSES’ promises the audience a magical ride into the life of the dancer Mew.

Featuring 3 renowned solos by MEW – “I’m waiting for him” (Chinese Dance), “Eslilin” (Javanese Folk), “My Way” (Contemporary Dance), a passionate duet by Steve Goh and Mew – “Leaving.
