Albert Tiong was awarded a scholarship in 1994 by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to study contemporary dance and ballet. Upon completion, he joined Cloud Gate Dance Theatre (Taiwan) and later, the Hong Kong Dance Co as a guest artist.

Until 2003, Albert was a principal artist at Odyssey Dance Theatre (Singapore) and had performed in 11 of their 13 main house seasons. He was also involved in their 4-year artist-in-school programme, arts education, and community and outreach programmes.

He is now a freelance choreographer/dancer.

The MINES Resort City / Shopping Fair presents its second Arts Festival 2003 – MyArt, My Passion.
