The Akademi Seni Kebangsaan and Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism are pleased to announce the 5th International Dance Festival, TARI 2002 – celebrating Asian Dance!

This year the festival will take on a new look as it tours to Penang, Ipoh and Kuantan before making a final performance in Kuala Lumpur. In the meantime, various local dance companies will perform in Kuala Lumpur. In addition, local and international teachers will conduct workshops.

Countries that will participate include (subject to change):
India: Mamata Shankar Ballet Troupe
China: China Eldous Dance and Song Troupe (Inner Mongolia Province)
Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City
Singapore: LaSalle College of the Arts
