Dance4Charity Workshop / Performance

Shirena Hamzah is organising a seven-day dance workshop to be held 7-13 September 2002 at Desa Sri Hartamas.

Jay T Jenkins and Vicki Fischer, instructors from STEPS on Broadway, New York, will conduct the workshop. Both have worked with various dance companies across the United States, and also on Music Videos for artists such as Prince, Salt n Pepa and Chaka Khan.

At the end of the workshop, there will be a performance at the Securities Commission Auditorium. This will be a charity event and the proceeds will go to the Malaysian AIDS Foundation.

Aside from recruiting students for the workshop, we are also inviting schools to send in one or two numbers to be staged on the charity night.
