In this monthโs Dance Box Series, Mun Lee will present Fang Xue [Blood Letting]. Described as a hybrid of space, visuals and dance, it uses a combination of multi-visual art media to search for a cutting edge with which to โlet bloodโ.
When happiness has been terminated,
My heart beat stops, pours it out, stabs it.
Gently discharging the extravasated blood,
Still hope lives.
Choreographed by Mun Lee and Loi Chin Yu, the performers include Caecar Chong, Gan Hui Yee, Lim Sheau Wey, Tey Min Li, Yong How Yean as well as Mun and Chin Yu. The models for the photographs are Kenzo De Tuan and Makoto Matsushima.
