London-based Tripsichore Yoga Theatre celebrates yoga philosophy and extraordinary physical prowess, giving the 5,000-year-old discipline of yoga a sensually modern twist. Yoga Theatre combines the spirituality of yoga with acrobatic agility and grace with the emotional pull of a good play. Tripsichore Yoga Theatre is a moving sculpture, driven by the rock tinged music of such luminaries as BJ Cole and LagoonWest.
“The Fallen” is about characters who, once mighty, fall from grace by some fatal error or frailty. What might happen to the fallen afterwards? How do they go on? Is it worth the struggle?
The piece features choreography and performances by Tripsichore aces Edward Clark and Nikki Durrant.
