18 years ago Dancebox was born, as a partnership between The Actors Studio and MyDance Alliance. In conjunction with The Actors Studio’s 30th anniversary, we celebrate the coming-of-age of Dancebox with four programs of short dance works, showcasing the beauty and diversity of dance in Malaysia:
Programme A – Classic Restages: A look back at a few major works which have shaped Malaysian dance history.
Programme B – Dancebox Restages: By popular demand, some of the works that have rocked the Dancebox stage.
Programme C – Dance in the Community: Dance is everywhere and everyone can do it!
Programme D – New Dances/New Faces : The winning Dancebox formula, presenting the untried and untested.
