Founded in 2001, MyDance Alliance brings together dance practitioners and dance enthusiasts to support and promote dance in Malaysia. A network organisation with local and international links, MyDance Alliance is a member of the World Dance Alliance.

MyDance Alliance aims to support and promote the many forms of dance that exist in Malaysia by focusing on five aspects of dance:

Take Part in Dancebox September 2010

Dancebox in January, April and June this year were all big hits with dancers and the crowd! Don't miss the opportunity to take part in upcoming Dancebox events. The next Dancebox at The Actors Studio Theatre at Lot 10 shopping centre will be Friday 3 September 2010.

We are looking for short dance works in any genre between 7 and 15 minutes long. Ideally either by emerging choreographers, or if by established choreographers something experimental and cool. Then again, if you have been quiet for a while and we have not seen you on stage lately, show us whatever you are working on! Works in progress and lecture demonstrations are also possible.

T&C: Bump-in on Friday 3 Sept. Choreographers need to be MyDance Alliance members to participate. If you are not a MyDance Alliance, you can join on the day of performance.
